
Inaugurating 1200 Graduates, Rector Encourages UIN Raden Fatah Graduates to Continue Study Abroad
Rector of State Islamic University (UIN) Raden Fatah Palembang Prof. Dr. Nyayu Khodijah, S.Ag., M. Si inducted 1200 graduates in the 87th undergraduate graduation which took place at the Academic Center building of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang, Saturday (12/23/2023). The 87th Graduation of UIN Raden Fatah carries the theme “Building a Culture of Superior Quality”. The theme of this graduation is UIN Raden Fatah’s commitment to maintain superior accreditation that was recently achieved. Through this theme, UIN Rector Raden Fatah invited the entire academic community, especially the graduates, to prove to the community that we deserve the title of superior accreditation. The culture of superior quality must be reflected in the academic community of UIN Raden Fatah, especially the scholars who have been inaugurated today.
Furthermore, the Rector explained that after successfully achieving superior achievements nationally, UIN Raden Fatah is determined to excel internationally. In order to achieve international excellence, UIN Raden Fatah has carried out various international collaborations, including Jadara University, Angren University, Urgench State Pedagogical Institute, Alqasimia University, Zarqa University, Applied Science University, Abu Dhabi University, Hashemite University, Aphiladelphia University and others. “This collaboration is one of the strategic steps of UIN Raden Fatah in order to achieve a superior university in Southeast Asia in 2029 and continue the master plan of development towards a world class university in 2039,” said the Rector.
Not only that, UIN Raden Fatah has also succeeded in obtaining the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings international award. This international cooperation carried out by UIN Raden Fatah is a great opportunity for graduates to continue their studies abroad. Furthermore, the Rector added that UIN Raden Fatah became one of the pilot projects of the double degree program of the Indonesia Bangkit Scholarship (BIB) of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. In the BIB program, UIN Raden Fatah collaborates with Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), eligible students will receive scholarships to continue their studies with full scholarships. “This collaboration can be used by graduates to continue their studies abroad by obtaining two master’s degrees at once,” concluded the Rector.
