PURPOSE
- Provide greater access to education to the community, in order to increase the Higher Education Participation Rate.
- Produce human resources who are competitive, professional, skilled, charismatic, and with integrity.
- Produce academic works that are beneficial for improving the quality of life of the community.
This objective is in accordance with the main duties of IAIN stated in Government Regulation No. 33/1985, namely “organizing education and teaching above secondary level universities based on Indonesian culture and scientifically providing education to the community in the field of Islamic religious sciences in accordance with applicable legislation.” The objectives are broken down into: (1) Existential goals, namely providing education and teaching of Islam at the university level and becoming a center for deepening and developing Islamic religious knowledge. (2). Institutional objectives, namely to form Muslim scholars who are experts in Islamic religious sciences and other related sciences, who are pious and noble, who are capable and skilled and responsible for the welfare of the Ummah, nation and state.
