
Strengthening International Collaboration, UIN Raden Fatah Visits Indonesian Embassy for Jordan and Palestine
KUAI KBRI – Amman welcomed the delegation of Neger Islamic University (UIN) Raden Fatah Palembang at the embassy office in Abdoun, Thursday (7/12/23). KUAI Muhammad Hartantio also escorted the group to Zarqa University along with PF Pensosbud, and also accompanied UIN Rector Raden Fatah in the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and also the agenda of visiting professors & guest lectures. Rector of UIN Raden Fatah Prof. Dr. Nyayu Khodijag, S.Ag, M.Si thanked for all the support and facilities provided by the Indonesian Embassy in Amman and also hoped that in the future the cooperation that has been built can develop well. The Rector also conveyed to all delegates to follow up seriously the recognition process of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang at the Ministry of Higher Education of Jordan, as a concrete effort to attract foreign students to the UIN Raden Fatah Palembang campus, South Sumatra.
In line with this, Vice Rector II Dr. Abdul Hadi, M.Ag, also hopes that this collaboration can benefit the academic community in particular and society in general. Meanwhile, the Indonesian Embassy also conveyed an extraordinary impression to UIN Raden Fatah who had succeeded in collaborating with universities in Jordan. “There are several universities in Indonesia that intend to build cooperation with campuses in Jordan, but it is very difficult to penetrate the campus. Meanwhile, UIN Raden Fatah has even established this collaboration since 5 years ago and has implemented several times with 9 well-known state campuses in Jordan, “said Pensosbud.
The Indonesian Embassy also gave extraordinary appreciation for the implementation of cooperation that has been held by both parties. The Indonesian Embassy in Amman also expressed its commitment to support UIN Raden Fatah Palembang in the recognition process at the Ministry of Higher Education of Jordan to strengthen cooperation in other fields such as MBKM (Student Exchange) and double degrees, to realize the vision of internationalization.
