
Strengthening International Cooperation, UIN Raden Fatah Visits Al Qasimia University Sharjah – United Arab Emirates
After participating in the global level UI GreenMetric World University Rankings which was held on December 5, 2022 in Dubai – United Arab Emirates. State Islamic University (UIN) Raden Fatah visited Al Qasimia University Sharjah- United Arab Emirates. During his visit, the UIN Raden Fatah group was warmly welcomed by the Rector of Al Qasimia University, Prof. Awad Alkhalaf. In this visit UIN Raden Fatah was represented by the Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Islamic Thought, Prof. Dr. Ris’an Rusli, M.A, Head of the Quality Assurance Institute (LPM) Dr. Syahril Jamil, M.A, and Head of the GreenMetric Team UIN Raden Fatah Ledis Heru SP, this visit took place on Wednesday (6/12) at Al qasimia University Sharjah – United Arab Emirates. This gathering focused on the discussion of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two parties both in the field of Tri Dharma of Higher Education and religious moderation.
Prof. Awad Al Khalaf said that in addition to teaching duties, the academic community also has a responsibility in spreading moderate understanding and mercy. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Zakaria Nuh as Director of International Office and Prof. Ali Nuqbah as Director of Public Relations of Al Qasimia University. Meanwhile, Ris’an Rusli expressed his infinite gratitude to Al Qasimia University for his warm welcome. “We hope that from this friendship good ideas will emerge in the implementation of future cooperation plans,” he said. Along with the meeting, the UIN Raden Fatah group was also allowed to meet with Indonesian students studying at Al Qasimia University.
