Towards an International Standard University, UIN Raden Fatah Palembang Collaborates with Several Cross-Country Universities

In an event attended by various UI GreenMetric (UIGM) member countries, State Islamic University (UIN) Raden Fatah strengthened cooperation by signing an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) while planning the implementation of cooperation with several countries, namely Jadara University-Jordan, Urgench State Pedagogical Institute, and Angren University Uzbekistan, Tuesday (12/5/23). The MoU activity took place at Woldrof Astoria Palm Jumeirah-Dubai in conjunction with the UIGM International award and also the International Conference on Advancing Sustainable Future (ICASF 2023). Rector of UIN Radaen Fatah Prof. Nyayu Khodijah, S.Ag., M.Si said that on the occasion of ICASF 2023, let us expand cooperation with universities in UIGM member countries to introduce UIN Raden Fatah on the world stage.

“By establishing and expanding cooperation with various universities across countries, UIN Raden Fatah can be known in the world and strengthen networks both in the field of research and others in order to realize UIN Raden Fatah Go International,” said the Rector. Meanwhile, Vice President of Jadara University, Prof. Dr. Iman Basheti, said that he agreed with UIN Rector Raden Fatah that on this occasion we must maximize to explore academic potentials that we can collaborate. Vice president of Angren University Ms. Rukhsora expressed her admiration for UIN Raden Fatah with the number of students, teaching staff and achievements they have.

In this cooperation, both parties are committed to strengthening cooperation in the future in the series of Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The organizer of the ICASF 2023 activity is Abu Dhabi University led by President Prof. Ghassan Aouad. This activity also received tremendous welcome and enthusiasm from 1183 universities consisting of 85 countries.
