89th Graduation Ceremony of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang, Chancellor: Be a Pioneer in Community Progress
Public Relations – UINRF — Raden Fatah State Islamic University (UIN) Palembang released 1110 graduates and female graduates at its 89th graduation, consisting of 1059 Bachelor’s, 46 Master’s and 5 Doctoral programs .
The release of the 89th graduating class took place at the Academic Center of the Sudirman Campus of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang, with the theme “Strengthening the Integrity, Loyalty and Solidarity of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang Graduates”.
Chancellor of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang, Prof. Dr Nyayu Khodijah, S.Ag., M.Si congratulated the graduates and female graduates, and appreciated the parents who have entrusted their sons and daughters to study at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang.
“I believe that the academic achievements that have been achieved by these graduates and female graduates are certainly the result of hard work, perseverance, tenacity, as well as moral support and prayers from their families. “The graduates have all been equipped not only with knowledge and skills, but also with the resilience to be able to compete globally in the waves of change,” said the Chancellor, Saturday (29/6/2024).
The Chancellor emphasized to the graduates of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang, to continue to increase their experience and knowledge when serving themselves in the future.
According to the Chancellor, society is a giant laboratory and library that will never end for learning, because when you stop learning, you will be crushed by the cycle of change.
“Make yourself a pioneer in the progress of society, not the other way around as a burden in people’s lives,” stressed Nyayu Khodijah.
At the 89th graduation ceremony, the Chancellor also conveyed the achievements achieved by UIN Raden Fatah Palembang from 2020 to 2024.
“UIN Raden Fatah has achieved many extraordinary achievements, both in the field of education, research, community service, Good University Government (GUG), cooperation, student affairs, finance, human resources, as well as facilities and infrastructure,” he said. .
Furthermore, the Chancellor said that UIN Raden Fatah had achieved many achievements, including that UIN Raden Fatah had achieved superior accreditation in 2023, with a total of 28 study programs having been accredited superior and A.
“UIN Raden Fatah continues to strive to improve the quality of education, as evidenced by UIN Raden Fatah being the only PTKIN that has 59.5% of A-accredited and superior study programs. “There are no longer any C-accredited or unaccredited study programs,” he explained.
Nyayu Khodijah also said that in the future UIN Raden Fatah will continue to strive forward to take even better steps in making UIN Raden Fatah go international and excel on the global stage.
At this 89th graduation ceremony, Chancellor Nyayu Khodijah invited alumni to contribute to making UIN Raden Fatah go international and excel on the global stage.
“It is hoped that the alumni will be able to glorify the good name of the alma mater in various professions, at national and international levels in their respective scientific fields. “Maintaining solidarity both in the personal and community environment, and being able to build a new civilization with integrity, innovation and inspiration that has been obtained while studying at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang,” he concluded.
