88th Graduation Ceremony of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang, Chancellor: Excellent Campus Produces Quality and Competitive Graduates
PR – UINRF — Chancellor of the State Islamic University (UIN) Raden Fatah Palembang Prof. Dr. Nyayu Khodijah, S.Ag., M. Si inaugurated 1059 graduates at the 88th undergraduate graduation which took place at the Academic Center building of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang, Saturday (9/3/2024).
Apart from being attended by all the leaders and members of the Senate, the 88th Graduation Ceremony of UIN Raden Fatah was also attended by the professor of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta who is also the Director of Education for the Ulama Cadre of the Istiqlal Mosque Jakarta, Prof. Dr. H. Ahmad Thib Raya, MA
In his speech, the Chancellor expressed his gratitude for the presence of Prof. Thib Raya, hopefully his presence can motivate the academic community of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang to improve the quality of education so that it can become an internationally superior university. The Chancellor also hopes that Prof. Thib can motivate graduates to become successful scholars in this world and the hereafter. As the theme carried at the 88th graduation ceremony of UIN Raden Fatah “UIN Raden Fatah Scholars, World Success, Success in the Hereafter”.
The Chancellor also emphasized that the UIN Raden Fatah Palembang campus had succeeded in achieving Superior accreditation. Through the 88th graduation ceremony, UIN Chancellor Raden Fatah invited the entire academic community, especially the graduates, to prove to the public that we deserve the title of superior accreditation. A culture of excellence must be reflected in the academic community of UIN Raden Fatah, especially the scholars who have been inaugurated today.
Furthermore, the Chancellor explained that superior campuses will produce quality graduates who have high competitiveness.
“With superior accreditation, UIN Raden Fatah graduates can easily get jobs and continue their studies to a higher level,” said the Chancellor.
Not only that, UIN Raden Fatah Palembang has also collaborated both nationally and internationally, so that it will provide ample space for graduates to continue their studies abroad.
“UIN Raden Fatah is one of the pilot projects for the Indonesia Bangkit Scholarship (BIB) double degree program of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia. “In the BIB program, UIN Raden Fatah collaborates with Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), students who meet the requirements will receive scholarships to continue their studies with full scholarships,” concluded the Chancellor.
In his scientific oration, Prof. Thib congratulated the entire academic community of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang on obtaining Superior accreditation. Moreover, UIN Raden Fatah Palembang is the only campus whose certificate of excellence is handed over directly by the Executive Director of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT).
Furthermore, Prof. Thib invited the graduates to become superior human beings by increasing their good deeds, as contained in the Al-Qur’an Ayyukum Ahsanu Amala. Armed with these good deeds, we are able to become successful people in this world and the hereafter. At the end of his scientific oration, Prof Thib gave the graduates 14 keys to success in the world and the hereafter. The 14 keys are Faith, Knowledge, Taqwa, Sincerity, Motivation, Work Ethic, Diligence, Discipline, Honesty, Friendship, Prayer, Surrender, Gratitude and Patience.
