The 88th Graduation Ceremony of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang, Full of Emotion and Struggle
PR – UINRF — A touching moment occurred when parents replaced their son who died before completing his graduation ceremony at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang.
The late Arian Jenisnto was a graduate who attended the 88th graduation ceremony of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. Arian died on February 23, 2024. Based on information from his parents, Arian died due to a ruptured blood vessel in the brain.
In place of their son’s graduation ceremony, his parents and younger brother brought a photo of the late Arian to the front of the stage. This emotional moment was immortalized through a joint photo between the parents and his younger brother, the late Arian, with the leadership of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang, Saturday (9/03/24).
Deputy Dean I for Academic and Student Affairs, Faculty of Adab and Humanities, Dr. Amilda, M. Hum. explained that the late Arian Jenisnto was a student from the History of Islamic Civilization Undergraduate Study Program, Faculty of Adab and Humanities, UIN Raden Fatah Palembang class of 2017.
“The late Arian was replaced by his father, Sudirman, and accompanied by his mother and sister who carried a photo of the late Arian,” he said.
Apart from that, at this 88th graduation ceremony, there was an extraordinary struggle for Muhammad Andre Maulana, who is a student of the Sharia Economic Law Undergraduate Study Program, Faculty of Sharia and Law, UIN Raden Fatah Palembang class of 2018. Andre Maulana struggled to take the thesis exam between the gaps in the surgical process in his head. With full seriousness, Andre was able to complete his studies and achieve his bachelor’s degree, and was able to attend the 88th graduation ceremony.
